Manual (Task) Handling

Manual Handling injuries account for a significant number of workplace injuries. Effective Manual Handling training is an essential aspect of any manual handling risk management system.

This course equips participants with the skills and knowledge to shift loads using manual handling methods, including planning, risk assessment and relocating the load according to the plan. It includes compliance with safety legislation and basic principles of safe lifting. It also covers moving loads as part of day-to-day work, performed under some supervision, generally within a team environment.
