Accident and Incident Investigation Training

Effective Accident Investigation training is essential if workers are to conduct accident investigations in the workplace.

This session aims to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to conduct an effective accident / incident investigation, and to be able to analyse the circumstances leading to the accident in order to be able to recommend the necessary action required to prevent a similar incident reoccurring in the workplace.

The course outlines the need for investigation of incidents, causes of accident models, categories of hazards, hierarchy of controls, cause and effect analysis and fault trees analysis.
